Arranged Marriage

Arranged Marriage is not just a song by Apache India. If any Indian females come across this, can you give your perspective or thoughts or comments on this things? What you look for in a prospective husband - height weight mentally etc? If you were give a chance to talk and make a choice what would you discuss and what will you consider before your decision?

Thanks in advance

Abominable creature, I am!!

Reliance doesn't want to do open business with me, because...

A rather unusual matter was brought up at the AGM by a shareholder. If Reliance had large retail plans, then would the company be also selling meats, poultry and fish, a staple at comprehensive super markets?

This would be abhorrent to a large section of the (Gujarati family promoted) company’s vegetarian shareholders who came from the Gujarat-Rajasthan belt in the country, said this shareholder.

And we know, as vegetarians, Gujjus are peaceloving people, and are highly principled - they respect all people irrespective of religion, caste, colour, or food preference, have high principles to uphold, don't do anything illegal, and their businesses are ethical and force other businesses to be non-discriminatory.

Hmmm, what will Reliance guys do? Effectively give out a lucrative, high-margin business to others, or face the wrath of those peace-loving Jains again?

But, while the name ‘Reliance’ will not be associated with non-veg, Mr Ambani added that the company’s retail operations would still “do that business,” either through a subsidiary or by some other means. “There is an integrated India,” he reminded his audience, implying that there are different cultures in the country and that business should cater to all.

I got rid of this by removing the default profile and creating a default profile again. I forgot to back up and lost all my bookmarks and downloaded plugins.

De-brate....

Some quotes!!

Most sensible comment seen there: End of the day, use what works for you.

Other, nonsensical comments!!

Linux - vim
Windows - Notepad

The answer is obvious for the people out there with half a brain…get OpenOffice.

But what about the average family who doesn’t need X amount of extra features?

First, most people don’t need the advanced features of MSWord, so OpenOffice - for free, will do the job just fine.

so, don't format your documents, resumes, flyers printed for your home business... here, take this toy, oooh, look at the pretty colours...go play with it, you don't need any of them jazzy features...one size fits all... Non-geeks like Office? death to the non-geeks...the geeks shall inherit the earth, until then, death to micro$oft...go through the 3000 page manual and memorize it before you even think of asking me some question...i'm too busy and cool to think about you user people anyway, and to boot you people are insects inside my bottom....just nuisance factor....sigh! what paradise it will be if there were no users in this world...

What is this?

Can anyone identify this jelly fish like thing? It is more or less the size of a thumbnail.

The photo i took somewhere south of Thiruvanmiyur, Madras.

This is the response from a group:
Google on "Irukandji' and see the images. It closely matches the images in the pic....though I know that Irukandgi is mostly colourless very difficut to detect with naked eyes. This jelly fish is the most poisonous organism know to man. Its a recent discovery and very few clinics in the world have managed to successfully persons stung by this fish.

This is the deadly Irukandji fish, but my 'discovery' is different from this in some ways:

1) mine is a cobalt blue in colour, while Irukandji is transparent
2) Irukandji has only 4 tentacles, mine has more than four.
3) this was found in India, whereas Irukandji is supposedly found only in Australian beaches
